Time For An Epic Fight Scene
A downloadable book
Do you want to write your own LRP (or larp as I hear it's also called) and run it?
Would you like to do so without stressing out from constantly fielding rules queries and edge cases, or causing your players' brains to overheat? You need this book.
We'll go through how to design a game from start to finish. From thinking what sort of stories you want a conflict to tell, to ensuring your game is as accessible as possible to all sorts of larpers.
Even if you've never larped before, you too can learn to take your RPG adventures off the tabletop and out to the nearest woods, park or campsite.
I started this book in January 2021, after not having run any larp for almost a year because of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. I was trying to answer the question of “Is there much in the way of game design scholarship or blog opinions available, when it comes to talking about LRP combat design?” The answer seemed to be “not much”, so I thought I'd fix that!
This is the Early Access book
As it's aimed at not just larpers, but those willing to write their own game, this book is so niche that I do not expect to make enough money for an editing budget. The best thanks you could give me (other than tipping on PWYW) would be constructive criticism and suggestions.
